Well Jay and I have officially registered at Babies R Us and target and gone back twice to add things to our list.  We bought the crib and the changing table on Friday (boy do they come in small boxes).  I have stared at pink paint chips over and over.  It sure is hard to choose the perfect pink.  So far we have made sure to rule out pepto pink and hot pink (remember she is a classy baby).  I think I have found the perfect pink for her walls now.  We have almost gotten all the old furniture out of her room so I can start painting.  I’m hoping to get started this weekend.  (So Excited!)  We had to register for a different car seat because it turns out that the one we borrowed expired.  We registered for a cute (and light) green one that we test drove all around Babies R Us.  I can’t believe how quickly time is flying.  Pretty soon we will be parents!

Ok, so I have always said I wasn’t going to be one of those crazy everything girly and pink if it was a girl.  Well I was wrong.  Jay and I registered today at Babies R Us and Target.  I had the hardest time not scanning everything that was pink!  Jay said I had to keep in mind that he would be carrying the baby stuff and he did not want to carry pink.  I think Kennedy is going to be the best dressed little girl in the south with the cutest stuff.  I also bought her baby bedding today.   It is black and white toile and we are thinking of painting the nursery either pink or green.  Scott is making her name to put over the crib.l  We are going to buy a black crib and changeing table.  We are still up in the air about what kind of glider to buy.  Any suggestions?  I am uploading the baby bedding to the baby stuff album in the baby gallery.  It comes with the sheet, bed skirt, comforter, curtain, toy bag, diaper bag, and a pillow.  I’m hoping to also buy the hamper, lamp, changing pad, and mobile.  Keep your eyes open for anything black and white toile!

PS: Jay just agreed!  Its offical her name is Kennedy Jaye

We had our second ultrasound today.  Things went really well.  Kennedy’s thyroid looked fine and all her other measurement still look great.  She should be here by early May so those of you who guess around May 10th you may be the winner!  I went shopping today for the first time.  I bought 3 dresses and 1 awesome pink and purple clemson hat!  I want her to be wearing the hat in the hospital for her first official photos for their website.  I am so pleased with the hospital that we have chosen.  Everyone that works there is so nice.  I hope that I can convince Jay to go with me to register tomorrow.  Something tells me he isn’t going to have much fun with that.  I however can’t wait!  Can you believe that Kennedy will be here in 16 weeks!  Whoa!

Her name is going to be Kennedy.  We are thinking Kennedy Jaye, but we are still waiting on Jay to be 100% on the Jaye.  It was awesome seeing her on the ultrasound today.  We got a DVD of all her movement.  She was trying to suck her thumb!  So Cute!  Turns out my doctor does a 4D ultrasound at the 20 week appointment.  It was so cool to see all of her features.  She has my nose!  I am uploading her pictures to the baby gallery.  I am going for another ultrasound tomorrow to make sure that her thyroid is ok since mine is funky.  Hopefully I will have some more awesome pictures!

20 weeks today!  We are halfway there!
