Kennedy is 4 weeks old today! Last night was NOT a great night. Kennedy started crying at 7 and only stopped when she was nursing or cuddling in our bed. Needless to say she spent the whole night in the swing. Kennedy is doing some really cool things lately. One trick she has learned is to wiggle around in the pack and play until she is on her side facing the side of the pack and play and whining. We bought a positioner today so hopefully she won’t be able to do this trick anymore.
Kennedy is really getting where we can’t just sit her down and walk away anymore. She really wants to be held, tickled, kissed on her cheeks, and entertained. It makes it very difficult to get anything done around the house because she cries when I try to do anything other than give her 100% of my attention. I will be going tomorrow to buy a swing to keep downstairs to entertain her.
One fun thing about our website is I can see what people search to come up with our website. Usually this is boring things about pregnancy and child birth. The past two days have been pretty funny so I thought I would share them today.

We too are having the same issue with Elsie. Thank goodness for the recliner, because laying her on my chest and laying back in the recliner is literally the only way I get any sleep these days!
Tonight we are implementing the “bedtime ritual” in hopes of preparing them for bed with the same activities as signals for bed.
Yeah, well… it probably won’t work, but its worth a shot!

We need to get the babies together Malisa! I haven’t started bed time ritual yet. I think it is more me not ready than it is her. You will have to let me know how it goes:) Just my luck we ran into our pediatrician tonight at Target at like 9:00. I’m sure he is wondering why we have her out in public so late. Oops!
